Susan focuses on teacher professional development in arts integration, Common Core State Standards, 21st century learning skills, and technology. Susan writes about her teaching and leadership ideas on this blog weekly. Additionally, Susan also has written articles for several online magazines, guest authored posts on various professional blogs and has recently authored three books: STEAM PointShake the Sketch: An Arts Integration Workbook and A Vocal Advocate.

Typhani Harris
Typhani HarrisWriter and Dance Integration Specialist
 Typhani is a dance educator and mentor teacher in Pomona California and sits on the boards of both the California Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance and California Dance Education Association.  Having begun as a high school English teacher, it has been her mission to bring theory and research into the traditional dance class, and in 2009 she won the Music Center’s Bravo award for excellence in Arts Education.  Typhani has presented at both local and national conferences and enjoys helping teachers find their Common Core voices within the dance studio.

Brianne DeFrang
Brianne DeFrangWriter and Director of the Learning Studios
Brianne is a former music educator from the suburbs of Chicago and current graduate class instructor with EdCloset’s Learning Studios. She earned her Masters degree in Music Education from VanderCook College of Music and has over a decade of experience in the elementary general music classroom. With her experience in the performing arts, Brianne is dedicated to building connections between the arts and Common Core Standards, 21st century learning skills, inquiry and project-based learning.
