Did you know that the real reason that the Arts are in such peril is not because of budget cuts?

Nope.  Budget cuts are affecting everyone.  The hidden truth about why the Arts are in peril is because 21st century education no longer perceives the Arts as being critical to creativity.  Today, I’m providing a book-reading of an excerpt from my new book “A Vocal Advocate”.  As you listen, you’ll discover this hidden truth and how we can overcome it’s startling reality.  By the way….yes, I know this is a video of me reading to you.  But sometimes, I think it’s worth hearing the book from the author’s own voice – literally.  Speaking of voice….I’d love for you to add yours below and share your thoughts!

I definitely think that you’re right that the arts are not being prioritized in our current education system. There are still advocates for elementary music education and great resources for teachers to creatively incorporate music into their classrooms.
