Overview: This lesson uses the scientific method and artful thinking strategies to help students understand the power of observation.
Today’s lesson is using the Artful Thinking strategy that I outlined a few weeks ago. This powerful tool for observation makes a natural connection to the scientific objective of observation through the Scientific Method.
By training your students to look at art through the lens of Artful Thinking, you are actually helping them to think scientifically. This lesson is great for any grade level, K-12, though I have written it for the purposes of elementary school here.
